Cruel Youth return with ‘Devil In Paradise’

‘Devil In Paradise’ sees Cruel Youth return to the music scene two years after their ‘+30mg’ EP

‘I’m never going back to California, I’m never going to back to Hollywood’, Teddy Sinclair declares on the first verse of Cruel Youth’s new single. A bold statement yet an effective one as it hooks you in as to why Sinclair is never going back. The answer is because of the ‘Devil In Paradise’, as someone who has experienced the corrupted music industry, Sinclair touches base on how opportunities given in said industry are like dancing with the devil.

Cruel Youth’s new single, ‘Devil In Paradise’ was written by Teddy Sinclair alongside her husband, Willy Moon. Moon also produced the single, which is the first taste of music to be taken from Cruel Youth’s highly anticipated debut album. There isn’t much information on the debut album other than it’s lead single and it is due to be released in the near future.

It will follow Cruel Youth’s debut EP, ‘+30mg’ which was released back in September 2016. The critically-acclaimed EP consists of a refreshing sound from Sinclair with her then newly re-formed artistry. It features the singles, ‘Mr Watson’, ‘Diamond Days’ along with five other tracks.

Cruel Youth’s latest single, ‘Devil In Paradise’ is available to stream now.
