Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! dressed as David Letterman on this past Halloween. He started his opening monologue by jokingly saying, “Yes, I’m Dave Grohl dressed as David Letterman in from Jimmy Kimmel. It’s confusing, I get it.”
Grohl then introduces the Jimmy Kimmel Live! house band, Cleto and the Cletones, who are dressed as Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Prince, Boy George, Billy Gibbons and/or Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, a member of DEVO, Michael Jackson, and Madonna. He then reveals Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick, Guillermo, who is dressed as Cher.

After interviewing Kristen Bell, the voice of Anna in Frozen who is dressed as Thomas Magnum from Magnum, P.I., Grohl and Bell perform “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from Frozen which is then surprisingly mashed up with Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”

Alice Cooper also came out for an interview with Grohl before the two took to the stage to perform a medley of Cooper’s songs, “Ballad of Dwight Fry” and “Killer,” alongside the rest of the members of the Foo Fighters. Cooper even performs his classic guillotine beheading gag which is one of his well known stage tricks.
