French DJ David Guetta and Canadian singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Fusion Festival.

David will be performing his electric DJ set on Saturday, September 1. He will be joined by Jess Glynne, who is currently enjoying great success with her Rudimental, Macklemore and Dan Caplen collaboration ‘These Days’.

Also set to perform on the Saturday are Clean Bandit, who will be bringing their huge hits such as ‘Symphony’, ‘Rockabye’ and ‘Tears’ to Otterspool Promenade. Production trio Disciples, DJ Sigala, and singer-songwriter MNEK complete the first wave of Saturday acts.

Shawn will be performing his global hits including ‘Stitches’, ‘Treat You Better’ and ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’ on Sunday, September 2. He will be joined by ‘King’ hitmakers Years & Years, who have been quiet in recent months, however, are due to release new music very soon.

They will be joined by James Arthur who is set to wow the crowds with songs such as ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ and ‘Naked’. Completing the Sunday line up so far are Swedish songstress Zara Larsson, DJ Jax Jones and X Factor 2015 winner Louisa Johnson.

Fusion Festival 2018 takes place at Otterspool Promenade, Liverpool on September 1-2. Tickets go on sale on Friday (February 23) at 9am. For more information about this year’s event, head to the official website.
