Demi Lovato has brought her A-game with her newest single, “Still Alive,” which serves as the theme song for the upcoming horror film SCREAM VI. The Grammy-nominated superstar has truly outdone herself with this high-energy track that perfectly captures the essence of the movie.

The accompanying music video is equally impressive, showcasing Demi and her friends attending a private screening of SCREAM VI, only to find themselves being hunted by Ghostface. Demi takes on the iconic role of the “Final Girl,” facing off against her assailant in the video’s thrilling final act. Directed by Jensen Noen, the video also features cameos from Mike Shinoda and Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills.

Co-written by Demi, Shinoda, and Laura Veltz, “Still Alive” marks the first taste of new music from Demi since her critically acclaimed album HOLY FVCK – which was reviewed on CelebMix. The album saw Demi return to her rock and pop-punk roots and featured collaborations with Yungblud, Royal & The Serpent, and Dead Sara. It debuted at #1 on three separate Billboard charts and earned her a 2023 GLAAD Media Award nomination for Outstanding Music Artist.

“I couldn’t think of a more perfect home for ‘Still Alive’ than within the Scream universe. I’m a huge fan of the films, so it’s an honour to contribute to such an iconic horror franchise,” Demi stated.
