If we are remembering any name, it is China Anne McClain.

The actress owns the role of Uma, daughter of Ursula in the just-released music video for “What’s My Name.” The song is the latest track revealed for Descendants 2, following lead single “Ways To Be Wicked.” In the new visual, McClain is seen alongside fresh faces Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair, who too will star in the upcoming Disney Channel film.

Previously announced alongside a mini teaser that the video was set to drop on Friday, fans were in for a pleasant surprise when it instead, came days earlier, firing up anticipation for the adored franchise’s sequel.

McClain will also be conquering her own, solo rendition of The Little Mermaid’s “Poor Unfortunate Souls” and we have no doubt in our minds the sea princess will deliver a flawless depiction.

“China Anne has such natural talent and a very soulful voice,” Steven Vincent, vice president of Music and Soundtracks, Disney Channels Worldwide told LaughingPlace. “In this song, she brings it all and adds the perfect amount of attitude to the performance – she’s a great actress who knows how to put character into her singing.”

The sequel’s official trailer unveiled the return of originals Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sophia Carson), Carlos (Cameron Boyce), Jay (Booboo Stewart) and King Ben (Mitchell Hope), who has been kidnapped by Uma in attempt to get her hands on Fairy Godmother’s magic wand. Because, why wouldn’t an antagonist be after complete world domination?

Descendants 2 premieres July 21 and is slated to air on five different television networks simultaneously: Disney Channel, ABC, Disney XD, Freeform and Lifetime. The multiple channels does not come as a surprise, as the film was the No. 1 cable television movie in 2015 and became the fifth highest-rated original motion picture on U.S. cable television of all time.
