Making her first public appearance, Caitlyn Jenner looked gorgeous as she attended the Dream Downtown Hotel’s Pride party in New York City this past Sunday. Jenner, who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition, received cheers as she walked in.
Now that the former Olympian has gone public with her transition, Jenner faces a new challenge.
A new report revealed that designers are “begging” her to wear their clothes at this year’s ESPY Awards. Jenner will be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award, which will “celebrate Bruce becoming Caitlyn,” executive producer of The ESPYs Maura Mandt said in a statement.
“She has shown the courage to embrace a truth that had been hidden for years, and to embark on a journey that may not only give comfort to those facing similar circumstances, but can help to educate people on the challenges that the transgender community faces,” Mandt added.
With many different options in designers, we’ll definitely have to wait and see who Jenner chooses as she walks down the red carpet. The ESPY Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles, airs July 15.
