She’s been teasing this brand new single for weeks on her socials, and finally, it has been dropped. Antonia has released her highly-anticipated new song, titled “Hotel Lounge”. A music video has also been released to accompany the track. The song follows-up the colourful, bright, and dance-ready single “Tango“.
Antonia, full name Antonia Iacobescu, made a name for herself back in 2010 when her collaboration with Tom Boxer went global, titled “Morena”. She also got a number one hit in her home country of Romania three years later with “Marabou”. Recently, she’s gone on to release a number of singles, one of which charted in the Top 10 of the Romanian chart, titled “Iubirea mea“. Not only that, but she also competed in Uite cine danseaza (the Romanian version of Dancing With The Stars – in English, the show’s title translates to “Look Who’s Dancing”) shown on Pro TV. Her partner was Paolo Campigotto, and they came sixth overall. She is also a part of the jury in the Romanian talent show The Four.
This brand new single, “Hotel Lounge” is giving us a more sexed up Dua Lipa “New Rules” vibe. It was written by PJ, Marco & Seba, David Ciente, and Antonia Iacobescu. The music video was directed by Bogdan Paun as part of the NGM Creative. We’re hoping her recent releases are soon packaged into an album, as we haven’t had an album from Antonia since her debut “This Is Antonia” in 2015.

This song reminds us of INNA’s “Heaven” purely because of the produced chorus which doesn’t contain Antonia’s vocals. It’s a highly sexed up song as Antonia tells her guy to meet her in the hotel lounge, and that it’s too late to turn back now. We’ve all been there, and it’s nice to see that the music video links in well with the song.
There’s so much going on in this visual, so many scenes. The main one is in the hotel room where Antonia and her girls act sexily, tantalising every viewer into wishing they were there right now. There’s also the very sexy shower scene, that’s risque but displays Antonia’s confidence around her team.
Then there’s the dance choreography, which is pure fire, there’s just not enough of it for us to fully adore the scene – we need more dancing from you, Antonia. The visual finishes up with this amazing Romanian singer sexily taunting a guy who is sitting down on a chair.
