Who is Barachi?
Barachi is an emerging R&B/Pop artist taking music critics by storm with his latest single, ‘Me +U’. The Miami based singer-songwriter and producer is a triple threat with all the skills to dominate the music industry. Barachi was raised in Brooklyn, NY and found his voice when he started singing for his local church’s choir as a youngster, this lead to songwriting during his teenage years.
Although he discovered his passion at a young age, he first attended college and also worked as an insurance agent before pursuing his craft of songwriting in the music industry. Barachi first got his big music when he featured on ProStyle’s single, ‘LOL’; an EDM single released by major-label Warner Bros.
Two years later and the ‘Me + U’ singer-songwriter debuted as a headliner with his debut solo single, ‘So Many Girls’ however, quickly changed musical direction to a more up-beat R&B sound with 2017’s single, ‘Tell Me’. This was the first single release with his current label, GMUSIC GROUP, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.
Does Barachi have any other hits?
Barachi’s previously mentioned single ‘Tell Me‘ was a viral hit, with the accompanying music video garnering over a million views on YouTube. The viral single labelled him as a force to be reckoned with in the current music industry. Also, with R&B becoming a more popular genre each day, we can only expect bigger things to come from this contemporary romantic.
His current single, ‘Me + U’ is the only other solo release from Barachi, as he is set to release his debut album, ‘THERAPY’ this summer. All the tracks on the album were co-produced by himself alongside High Volume, who has worked with the likes of Jason Derulo, Busta Rhymes and Gucci Mane to name a few.
What can expect in the future from Barachi?
Barchi is getting ready to release his upcoming debut album, ‘THERAPY’. As mentioned before, it will be released this summer with Fabian Marasciullo working on the album in terms of production. The Grammy-winner has worked with the likes of Flo Rida, Lil’ Wayne and T-Pain. ‘THERAPY’ will also serve as a visual album all thanks to Pierre, who has directed nine of the music videos taken from the album. Barachi’s career is guided by worldwide manager Lindsay Guion for Guion Partners, LLP, who similarly directed Ginuwine and D’Angelo.
In order to promote his upcoming album, Barachi will be serving as the entertainment support on the Small Business Expo, which is in collaboration with the multi-Emmy® Award-winning reality show Shark Tank.
The tour is set to kick off in Dallas and will wrap up in Houston later this year. As a part of the performance, Barachi will conduct a ‘therapy session’ with the audience where he will engage with them about various subjects. including the current single and his upcoming visual album.
