Here at CelebMix, we’re all for new music and discovering new artists. This time round, we are taking a look at DAANI and the music video to her latest single, ‘Two Hands’.
DAANI is a Nashville based electro-pop female artist, with vocal comparisons to the likes of Sia, Jessie Ware and Låpsley. This is all evident in her latest single, ‘Two Hands’, where we see DAANI showcase her resonant vocals over a silky yet electronic beat.
The ‘Two Hands’ singer-songwriter first found her feet in the music industry when she trained as a Jazz Vocalist at The New School in New York City. DAANI’s musical influences range from the soul of Stevie Wonder to 90s iconic female powerhouses, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
However, ‘Two Hands’ isn’t her only critical acclaim. DAANI was featured on ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Exclusive DVD and Blu-Ray Trailer in 2016 with her previous single, ‘Black Heart’ under her full name, Dani Elliott. It was also subsequently featured on the film’s soundtrack.

Before becoming a solo artist, DAANI was known for performing as a backing vocalist for some of the music industry’s most notable talents. From Sheryl Crow to Miley Cyrus to The Roots, is there no-one this powerhouse artist hasn’t worked with?
Now in 2018, Dani Elliott has now returned under the name of DAANI and is signed to Luna Music Group. Her latest single, ‘Two Hands’ was released on 23rd February 2018 with the accompanying music video being unveiled just under a week ago.
We can’t wait to see what else DAANI has to offer in the music realm and we’re excited to see her career take off in the music industry.
