Taking lost tracks and realising they deserved to be fleshed out and finished, GANZ has used his epic producing skills to transform these tracks and unleash them to the world in this epic four-track EP, titled “I’m Glad I Found U Pt.1”. The “pt.1” bit of the title of this EP, alone, indicates that he didn’t just find four tracks that he wanted to finish and release and that we can expect more from him – we certainly can’t wait. This is the follow-up to his second single from this EP, “All Kids Smile”.
GANZ, real name Jordy Saämena, is a rising producer and DJ who has already made a huge worldwide impact and continues to stun listeners. He started working on his career at an early age, learning how to blend various beats together and experimenting with combining EDM with hip-hop. He has already managed to gain over 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with plenty of his tracks going on to receive millions of streams on the platform, with his Flip Version of “HyperParadise (Flume Remix)” by Hermitude being his most-streamed single at 21.3 million streams on the platform whilst his collaboration with What So Not on “Lone” featuring JOY. is behind at 12.8 million. Not only that, but the Slow Hours Remix of “Lone” also has a considerable amount of streams on Spotify, at 10.4 million. It’s undeniable that GANZ not only knows what he’s doing when it comes to music but he also has an ear to compile various genres together and give us something new that is totally missing in the music industry, and we cannot wait to see what he surprises us all with next.
“This was one of the most fun projects I’ve been working on the last years and gave me so many vibes I decided to make a series of EP’s like this. That’s why this one is called Pt.1,” GANZ said. “New year, new vibes and I’m ready to start again with a clean sheet. The EP carries so many big emotions, so it’s definitely one to play when getting in the party mood.”

The EP kicks off with “Shelter”, which features vocals from Chase Zera (real name Ebony Morrison), setting the electronic vibe for the whole collection, giving a gentle ethereal energy as a variety of synths flow effortlessly through our speakers whilst the gorgeous soft vocals brings warmth. The track progresses into a stunning shoreline beat whilst Chase Zera stuns with an elegant vocal run that manages to make you take note of her superb voice without taking the spotlight from the beautiful instrumental beats. This is followed by “Peekabo0o” which continues the entrancing synths before an early drop transcends those beats into a more upbeat rhythm adding tension and a build-up into a drop full of bass that takes up the rhythm. It’s clear the GANZ loves to experiment, and this track showcases his pure ability to produce with the best of them.
The third track on the album is “Paper Plane Borders”, which was originally written back in 2017, is a high-energy dance track that allows GANZ to portray his versatility to his listeners when it comes to this EP. Addicting, with a crazy beat and subtle drop moments that allow the bassline to hit hard, this track is full of underground dance vibes and is deserving on sets and playlists of DJs who host and perform underground gigs. Full with a rhythm guaranteed to make you dance, GANZ doesn’t disappoint, flowing in drum and bass mixing it around with solid synths and subtle techno vocals that add texture and flavour. “All Kids Smile” ends the EP, “I’m Glad I Found U Pt.1”, which keeps the energised dance atmosphere but brings a bit more structure and more conceptual segments, making this track feel like it belongs on a video game for either an old arcade game or a racing game or a space shooter. Possibly techno at its best with beats that felt they were following a pop vibe – fully embracing versatility and creativity.
