If you want to feel nostalgic, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is 20 today. The Disney classic was released June 21st, 1996 based on the Victor Hugo classic. The film which features the voices of Tom Hulce, Kevin Kline, Jason Alexander, and Demi Moore is a much loved film to many 90’s babies and beyond.The film showing us beauty is within with a beautiful tale of love, loss, and defeating evil.
The film was recently turned into a stage production which had two out of town runs in California and New Jersey. There was hope that it may be turned into a Broadway production but it now seems unlikely. The show had sold out audiences and now has an original cast recording available.
The Disney favorite is one that many of us can never forget. It has easily stood the test of time and here’s to many more years to love this gorgeous film.
