On Monday, April 24th, DJ Khaled took to social media to announce his brand new single “I’m The One” featuring some big name artists. Among the world renowned artists are “Bad and Boujee” rapper, Quavo, self-supported musician, Chance the Rapper, rapper Lil’ Wayne, and finally, the one and only, Justin Bieber.

The album cover features Khaled’s child, Asahd, in a cute inner-tube, floating in what seems to be a pool, and complete with palm trees on the edges of the cover.
Today, “I’m The One” has officially dropped worldwide. After our first listen, we expect big things from this track including many #1 spots on music charts around the world and many killer performances.

And our prediction was right. “I’m The One” has already hit the #1 spot on iTunes (US), and also in many other countries, within the first couple hours of its release. Wow!
You would think the song has a tropical vibe because of the cover, but it actually has a lot more bass and the beat is very smooth. Bieber takes the chorus with his melodic, soothing voice, while Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil’ Wayne add some next level verses. The contrast between artists voices and the parts of the song gives the track an edgy vibe and an impeccable cohesiveness. We could definitely see this track being the song of the coming summer.

Of course, DJ Khaled couldn’t just drop a new single and stop there. He had to drop a video as well. The video features all five of the musicians at Khaled’s house, celebrating “life, success, and all blessings”. There are scenes of them strutting around Khaled’s lavish backyard and dancing beside the pool surrounded by women. Not only that, Khaled’s kid even made the beginning of the video looking just as cute as he does on the single artwork.

Each of the artists interact as they are best friends and they are just having an amazing time together, dancing, and enjoying life. We could tell that when filming this video, each of the artists were relaxed and just wanted to have fun with the video. This house party is definitely one we wish we were at; Who wouldn’t want to do some silly dancing with Justin Bieber?
