Earlier this week, DNCE surprised fans by announcing a new EP called People To People. Since then the four-piece, made up of Joe Jonas, Cole Whittle, JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless, have been teasing fans with snippets of the songs.
With their fans as excited as possible, earlier today (June 15), DNCE released the four-track EP for the whole world to enjoy. Made up of ‘TV In The Morning’, ‘Still Good’, ‘Lose My Cool’, and ‘Man On Fire’, it’s safe to say that DNCE are here to slay.
DNCE are often defined by their breakthrough hit ‘Cake By The Ocean’, and whilst the People To People EP still carries elements of DNCE’s trademark sound, the four-piece have definitely matured sonically and lyrically. This EP is their most cohesive body of work to date and showcases a slick, irresistible sound. We must also mention frontman Joe’s vocals, which are superbly captivating throughout.
Speaking about the EP in a press release, Joe said: “These new songs represent the evolution that the band has gone through over the last couple of years. They’re a little more chill, sophisticated. We’ve matured together, and so has the music.”
Take a listen to People To People below.
DNCE will be performing ‘TV In The Morning’ during The Voice Australia Finale on June 17. The finale marks the show’s seventh successful season, in which Joe made his coaching debut.
This summer, DNCE will also get the opportunity to perform their new material across Europe as they join Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour. The band will visit Spain, France, UK and Ireland.
