If you have been waiting to hear new music from DNCE, then we’re afraid you will have to wait a little bit longer (a Jonas Brothers reference, anyone?) because front man Joe Jonas recently revealed that the release date of their debut album has been pushed back.
The newest offering from the hip, funky and fresh band was originally penned to come out on 26th August but in a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Joe said that it now wouldn’t be coming out until some time in October. An exact date is still to be confirmed.
The band featuring members Joe Jonas (does he really need an introduction?), Jack Lawless, JinJoo Lee, and Cole Whittle already have the song of the summer, “Cake By The Ocean,” under their belts as well as the catchy follow-up single, “Toothbrush,” and if those tunes tell us anything then it is that their album will be amazing.
We may have to wait a bit longer for it but Joe said that the decision to push their album back was, “a good problem to have,” as it means that they will have more time to promote their latest single and to put on shows for their loyal army of fans. In fact, they are expected to take a break from their current tour with Selena Gomez to perform at the V Festival in the UK later this month where they will give the audience a taste of what’s to come. If their previous singles are anything to go by then their new album will surely be hitting the charts hard… You know, when it’s finally released. We’ll be waiting with baited breath.
In the meantime, you can check out the band’s EP on iTunes which includes four songs. It’s called, “SWAAY ,” and it’s totally awesome.
