Released today, Don Diablo has given us one catchy song that we can’t stop playing on repeat. The song is titled “Survive” and features Emeli Sandé and Gucci Mane – talk about a brilliant collaboration. The song follows up Don Diablo’s “Heaven To Me” which featured Alex Clare; Emeli Sandé’s EP which is titled “Kingdom Coming”; and, Gucci Mane’s “I Know” which was a collaboration with OSBS.
Don Diablo, whose real name is Don Schipper, is a Dutch DJ who has been named as one of the best in the world. Many of his songs have charted in various countries. He’s definitely releasing hits and this latest one is a stunner. He has millions of streams on Spotify and a global chart hit is clearly just around the corner for him. Featuring on the track is Emeli Sandé – real name is Adele Sandé – who has one stunning voice and hit it big with her early singles such as “Next To Me” and “Heaven” as well as featuring on the UK number ones “Read All About It” by Professor Green and “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth. Her latest tracks haven’t had much success, chart-wise, so she’s so ready for a comeback and this awesome song deserves to do well internationally. Also featured on this track is Gucci Mane – real name is Radric Davis – who is best known for collaborating with Rae Sremmurd on the song “Black Beetles”. He’s gone on to feature on some big singles lately, totally pushing his name out there, and this is just another one to add to the collection.
This song is beyond a hit and deserves chart success – for sure. It has been written by the artists themselves. There’s so much passion and raw emotion in the song that “Survive” is bound to speak to many of its listeners.

The song starts off progressively as Don Diablo grows the track, but Emeli Sandé jumps right in with the addicting chorus and her powerful vocals. Gucci Mane sings the first verse launching into story-rap that sets the scene. The lyrics as a whole send out confidence vibes and flare. Don Diablo impresses with his production and voice effects.
As a whole, this song is a balanced track that will certainly work for the radio, whilst giving us something new and much-needed in the music world; however, we’re more excited for potential remixes as DJs are certainly going to be mixing this up and adding it to their sets. This track is a total must-listen.
