This Sunday, Rihanna will be accepting the MTV VMAs Michael Jackson Vanguard Award. In the event of that, Drake decided to reward Rihanna with yet another award. He put up a giant billboard in the heart of Los Angeles.
“Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at OVO.”- the billboard read.
RiRi was beyond happy and shared the sign with her fans with a caption “When he extra ???!!!” .
Rumors have been swirling that the two of them are secretly dating.
“They have been keeping it a secret because this time around, they want to do it right and keep their relationship private” – the source close to the couple told PEOPLE earlier this year.
The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award is the Video Music Award’s highest honor. Past recipients include Kanye West, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Beastie Boys, Britney Spears, Madonna, and of course, Michael Jackson.
MTV’s Video Music Awards will air live from New York’s Madison Square Garden at 9 p.m ET/PT this Sunday (Aug.28)
