‘Secret Love Song’ is slowly becoming one of Little Mix’s most recognizable hits. It may even end up being their most successful song, but that’s if it’s released worldwide (and that’s a pretty big BUT).
Current iTunes numbers show that the song is making impact in over 25 countries. These include Germany, Australia, Singapore, Spain, the Philippines, etc. It’s also comfortably sitting at number #157 on the Spotify worldwide chart.
In all honestly, with the correct promo, this song could launch and become one of Little Mix’s best selling singles! And we’re not saying this just because it’s a great song – this song is catching and spreading on to other demographics and missing out on a huge opportunity like this could hinder the girl group greatly (and by hinder, we mean it could prevent the group from reaching their hopeful status of dominating the entire globe permanently – AND WE FIRMLY BELIEVE IN THEM).
Whether or not they do eventually release the single worldwide, a considerably wise option could be to release it worldwide after their BRIT performance. Many outside countries will be tuning in, and the song is sure to shoot straight to the number one spot in the U.K. (if ‘Secret Love Song’ is in fact the song they end up performing).
But whether the performance consists of a mash-up performance or not, the BRIT performance will definitely end up being one of Little Mix’s most critical and important stops as their musical career continues to grow and flourish.
Long story short, ‘Secret Love Song’ has the vocal and mainstream radio factor. All that needs to happen now, is full on promotion!
Even if it doesn’t end up happening, ‘Secret Love Song’ will be another surefire hit in Little Mix’s native country. It could just perhaps snag Platinum status as well.
