Ed Sheeran has unveiled an acoustic performance of his latest track ‘Beautiful People’.
Recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios, the black and white visual sees Ed strip back the song, taking us right back to his singer-songwriter roots. The track is a refreshing take on not fitting in with the celebrity lifestyle, and not wanting to, at that.
Check out the acoustic performance below.
‘Beautiful People’ was originally released on Friday (June 28) as a duet with Khalid, taken from Ed’s forthcoming collaborative album No.6 Collaborations Project. The pair also unveiled a music video for the track which follows a couple who realise that the celebrity lifestyle just isn’t for them, and that they are much more at home in each other’s company, doing crosswords and drinking tea.
Keep your eyes peeled for a few Ed and Khalid cameos! Check it out below.
No.6 Collaborations Project is set for release on July 12, with the ‘Shape of You’ superstar set to unveil collaborations with the likes of Cardi B, Camila Cabello, Stormzy and more. The album also includes the previously released ‘Cross Me’ featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock, and the smash hit ‘I Don’t Care’ with Justin Bieber.
If Ed’s Instagram is anything to go by, then the next track to be unveiled from the album will be his collaboration with Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, ‘Blow’. Keep your eyes peeled for more information!
