One of our favourite singer-songwriters Emily Warren is back with her brand new single ‘Paranoid’.
The mid-tempo offering sees Emily pleading with a lover not to be paranoid about their relationship. She reassures them that she isn’t going anywhere and that she will continue to support them through everything.
Armed with an electro-pop breathy chorus, ‘Paranoid’ is completely captivating and stands out as one of Emily’s most infectious, radio-ready releases yet. It’s great to see yet another side to the multi-talented songstress, which makes us even more excited for her forthcoming debut album.
Don’t listen to that voice, darling there’s no need to be paranoid
Don’t listen, it’s just noise, darling don’t be paranoid
Speaking to Ones To Watch, who premiered ‘Paranoid’ yesterday, Emily said: “I made this song with a few of my all time faves, Britt Burton, Scott Harris, Nick Ruth and Mac & Phil. We went away to write and one morning we all ended up in the same room, started playing around and “Paranoid” happened! I’m so excited that this song is out because sonically it’s a little different than what I’ve put out so far, and since I made it with such great people it’s fun to share it with them.”

‘Paranoid’ is taken from Emily’s forthcoming debut album, which is due for release later this year. The album will also include the previously released ‘Hurt By You’, ‘Something To Hold On To’, and ‘Poking Holes’.
In addition to working on her debut album, Emily has continued to share her songwriting talent with the world through a number of sensational co-writes. Her 2018 songwriting credits include Sean Paul, David Guetta and Becky G’s ‘Mad Love’, Sigrid’s ‘High Five’ and Anne-Marie’s ‘Trigger’.
Emily also co-wrote all of The Chainsmokers’ 2018 releases: ‘Sick Boy’, ‘You Owe Me’, ‘Everybody Hates Me’, and ‘Somebody’.
2018 looks set to be another amazing year for Emily Warren and we can’t wait to continue following her journey.
