Eminem and Ed Sheeran Release Music Video For ‘River’

Yesterday at 10am EST, the music video for River was released on the Eminem’s official Vevo YouTube channel.

Two days ago, the rapper posted a trailer for the River music video on his Instagram, captioned “Unhappy Valentine’s Day”.

River, is a collaboration with acoustic singer songwriter Ed Sheeran. Sheeran told Billboard that he received an email from Eminem’s manager, asking for ideas to complete the album. He admits that he’s always wanted an opportunity to work with the rapper, who is his inspiration in music.

The music video for River contains nearly seven minutes of Eminem tackling controversial talking points such as abortion, infidelity, failed relationships and more. Sheeran also appears in the grainy video.

Eminem made his highly anticipated return with his ninth studio album Revival on the 15th of December 2017. The album includes River and the Beyoncé collaboration Walk On Water.
