Australian singer/songwriter E^ST makes her triumphant return with her upbeat and playful new tune, Talk Deep.
Talk Deep sees E^ST (aka Mel Bester) reunite with long-time collaborator Jim Eliot (Halsey, Ellie Goulding) and is officially the first taste from her highly anticipated debut album I’m Doing It due for release next year.
On the track, E^ST notes “Talk Deep is about having crazy chemistry with someone and not wanting to miss out on a single second of it… Who needs sleep anyway?”
E^ST has always moved to the beat of her own drum. Maybe it’s because music had been the one constant in her life (having relocated to Australia from South Africa when she a child, moving house with her family close to 30 times). Or perhaps it’s something more innate that sets her apart from her peers; a natural curiosity teamed with a gift for expressing the conflicted emotions of youth in her own unique voice.
