Anna Scholz is an award-winning fashion designer from Germany who aims to make curvier women feel amazing.
So it was only fitting that she attended one of the largest plus-sized fashion events, the Curve Fashion Festival, held in Liverpool this Saturday.
Wearing her favourite dress from her collection, she explained how she chose to come to the festival as she was excited to meet her customers since moving online.
Anna was incredibly down to earth, spending time chatting with those who approached her display, even offering excellent fashion tips such as the brilliant tip that “everyone needs a leather biker jacket in their wardrobe” and advice about body confidence.
Speaking about her work, Anna commented how her mission is to “make people feel great in clothes” and discussed how “it helps if you understand the body.”
Mid-chat, Anna was joined by TV personality Gemma Collins who made sure to let it be known that she is “obsessed” with and “always loves” the Kettwig-born designer’s clothing line.
The TOWIE star then exclaimed “It’s always about the selfie when you’re from Essex!” as she held up her phone to pose with Anna.
Anna was shocked to hear that Gemma wears her pieces even when the reality star is supposed to be promoting her own collection – which was also launched at the festival on Saturday.
Anna also revealed how she has recently been involved in a new show, ‘The Fashion Hero’, which she filmed in Canada last month.
The German designer said: “I found it to be really good fun.”
The show promotes the idea of casting different models of all shapes and sizes for the fashion industry.
Anna expressed: “I fully support the message of beauty diversity.”
