Check out Darline’s music video for ‘Fall Deep’, premiering exclusively right here on CelebMix!
Dynamic dance-pop duo Darline are the new kids on the block who are guaranteed to ease your January blues. The duo, made up of 21-year-old Abby Inez and 19-year-old Cara Beard, initially bonded over their love of Taylor Swift. After years of honing their craft individually, they decided to form Darline, and have since proven to be inseparable in the studio, writing and recording new songs.
On Friday, Darline released their debut single ‘Fall Deep’. It’s clear that the two-piece have ripped up the dance-pop rulebook and are creating music on their own terms. Full of crisp euphoric beats, electro-savvy arrangements and flawless vocals, the girls have certainly created a unique sound. The genre-bending track was co-produced by Duck Blackwell (The Saturdays, Neon Jungle, The Wanted) and Grammy Award-Winning Wez Clarke (Olly Murs, Rudimental, Naughty Boy, Clean Bandit).
Today, we have the exclusive premiere of Darline’s beautiful music video for ‘Fall Deep’. The dreamy visual features close ups of Abby and Cara, bursts of colour and a hypnotic vibe throughout. It fits perfectly with the girls’ breathy vocals and adds to the feel-good factor which is evident throughout the song.

The duo might already be familiar to some eagle-eyed Eurovision fans, as the girls were shortlisted to represent the UK last year. Sadly, they lost out to Joe and Jake, who went on to compete on the UK’s behalf in Stockholm. All was not lost however, as the girls signed to Warner Music late last year.
‘Fall Deep’ is the first offering from Darline since their signing, with more music to be expected later this year. Inspired by artists such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes, we’re confident that Darline will be the new name on everyone’s lips, and that their music will be the newest addition to your playlists.
2017 looks set to get even bigger for Darline, when they perform at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on February 14 as part of Brits Week. The duo will perform alongside Tinie Tempah, Lianne La Havas and Anne-Marie in aid of War Child.
