HANSSØN is an exciting indie pop singer/songwriter on the rise. The future chart star originally hails from Australia and is now based in New York City. Her musical influces come from a range of artists including the likes of Michael Jackson, Sia, Janelle Monáe, Lilly Allen, Kimbra, and Beyonce to name a few.
Her new single ‘Always High‘ is a melancholy pop infused track and is lifted off her eagerly anticipated new EP ‘Colours Of The Fall’ which is set to drop this Summer. HANSSØN says her latest release is about “wanting to love someone who is too consumed with themselves to love you back. They’re “high” on themselves, ego-tripping, just on a different wave length, it’s not really about drugs, but more missing that connection, or seeing that they’re disconnected with what’s going on around them.”
The official tracklist for ‘Colours Of The Fall’ is as follows:
01. Dead Wood
02. Ode
03. If The World Was Ending
04. Iceberg
05. Weather Warning
06. Switchblade
07. Always High
Her musical output is a mix of beautiful rawness, deep connection and quiet nostalgia and ‘Always High’ is no different. You can watch the official music video for the single right here as we bring you the world exclusive premiere of the clip;
