Sydney Lauren is a rising singer/songwriter who attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music and shares a very similar music style to her musical idols Christina Perri and Sara Bareilles, but her lyrical inspiration comes from the likes of Carole King, and James Taylor making for a very unique sound.
Her unique blend of musical and lyrical style is evident in her latest single ‘Save Us’, which was originally written as a pleading yet hopeful response to last year’s heartbreaking Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting, but since various cowardly attacks have taken place in the last few months around the world, the song has taken on a new meaning.
‘Save Us’ has evolved into an empowering call for unity, strength and compassion. These messages are evident in the official music video for Sydney Lauren’s latest release. The clip features images of people coming together to support various causes and also includes news footage of the most devastating mass shooting to have taken place in our generation. The moving clip is to remind us all that we still gave so much to do to help each other.
