FILM REVIEW: We Are Your Friends

‘We Are Your Friends’ Tells the story of wannabe DJ, Cole Carter (Zac Efron), who is out to create that one track that will shoot him to fame and fortune.

The coming of age drama sees Cole, who is currently playing club gigs with his three best friends for free drinks, be taken under the wing of the famous DJ James Reed (Wes Bentley). But just as things are starting to look up for the rookie DJ, his world starts to fall apart as he finds himself falling in love with James’ girlfriend Sophie (Emily Ratajkowski) putting his future music career at jeopardy and tragedy also strikes in Cole’s life.

23 Year old Cole Carter must now choose between his friends, career or the girl of his dreams.

Life is never easy or as simple as finding that “One Track”.

There are also some fun facts in the music drama, like which beats control which parts of your body.

Efron gives a genuine and believable performance as the rising DJ in the music movie of the summer.
