Five Reasons We Can’t Wait For ‘Welcome To The Club Pt. 2’ By New Hope Club

Tomorrow New Hope Club are releasing their second EP, titled Welcome To The Club Pt 2. The four-track EP will feature previously released Medicine and Crazy alongside a live version of fan favourite Let Me Down Slow. Completing the track listing is brand new track Karma, with fans going crazy with excitement for this completely fresh new material. In celebration of its upcoming release, we thought we’d tell you five reasons we can’t wait for the new EP and just why you should pre-order it if you haven’t already.

We loved Welcome To The Club.

When the trio’s first EP was released in May 2017 we had the four tracks (Fixed, Water, Friend Of A Friend and Perfume) on repeat for longer than we care to admit. Their debut release allowed the guys to show off their sing-along guitar driven tracks which have become their signature sound. We like to think we have good taste, read what we think of the EP here.

    New music!

Who doesn’t love new music? We certainly do. Welcome To The Club Pt. 2 features new, unheard track Karma. Now we’re already imaging this is going to be a hard-hitting, lyrically powerful track to remind people that what goes around comes around. We can’t wait to see what musical direction this track is taking the trio in.

We love the tracks we’ve already heard

Medicine and Crazy have received great receptions from the fans and also the media. With Medicine racking up over one million views alone, they’ve gained support for the tracks from Radio 1. We think Welcome To The Club Pt.2 is just what we need to warm up the colder days.

It’s hit the top spot in the pre-order charts globally

Now if this isn’t evidence of how many people aside from us are looking forward to the EP, then what is? Topping the iTunes pre-order charts in eight countries including the UK, New Zealand and Singapore, NHC are going global.

NHC are one of our favourite live bands

Now we can listen to them live on a regular basis. Let Me Down Slow has become a live fan favourite for the ferocious energy and big sing-along chorus. Delighting fans that this has made the cut on the release in the form of a recording from the O2 Arena. Relentless live shows from busking for Teenage Cancer Trust to supporting The Vamps across the globe including on their upcoming Four Corners tour have led New Hope Club to perfect their live performances. We can’t wait to listen to this track back when we’re missing our live fix!

New Hope Club are one of the most exciting upcoming bands right now and as each month goes by we’re always excited to cover the great things they’re achieving. With two EPs now under their belt, two sold out nights at Shepherd’s Bush Empire we can’t help but wonder musically what’s next on the cards? More headline shows? An album? Whatever NHC do we’ll be watching their journey and we’re sure many of you will be too. Welcome To The Club Pt.2 is released tomorrow (30th October) and can be pre-ordered from here.
