If you’ve seen this year’s Christmas adverts from Debenhams then you’ve probably found yourself bopping along to its insanely catchy soundtrack. The eagle eyed viewers amongst you might have spotted a familiar face in the adverts too!
That’s right, pop star Fleur East is behind the track on Debenhams’ Advent and Christmas television adverts and she even makes a cameo appearance! These adverts will run throughout November and December and focuses on pairing people with the perfect gifts and advent calendars for them.
If, like us, you’re obsessed with the catchy hook of the song, you’ll be pleased to know that Fleur has now released the track in full. ‘Size’ is available to download and stream now, and is described as a “rally cry to finding happiness and the right fit in life whether it’s people, clothes, or Christmas presents.”
Speaking about the track, Fleur said: “I’m so excited for everyone to hear ‘Size’ in full. It’s on the Debenhams ad, which is so cool, but it’s only a snippet. I loved writing it and I love Christmas, so Christmas definitely came early for me when they announced they were using my song!”

‘Size’ follows on from Fleur’s previous 2019 singles ‘Figured Out’ and ‘Favourite Thing’ and continues to show her development as an artist over the years.
Fleur first rose to fame back in 2014 when she was runner up on The X Factor. She was the first X Factor contestant to have a number one track on the iTunes chart whilst on the show, when her version of ‘Uptown Funk’ hit the top spot six weeks before Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars officially released it in the uk.
Fleur went on to release her debut single Sax in 2015, which peaked at number three on the UK singles chart, before releasing her debut album, Love, Sax and Flashbacks.
More recently, we saw Fleur take on the trials and tribulations of the jungle when she appeared as a contest on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! in 2018. She now also hosts a weekday morning show on Bauer’s Hits Radio national radio station.
