Fleur East is set to make her West End debut this summer in Tina – The Tina Turner Musical at London’s Aldwych Theatre.

The ‘Sax’ singer – who will share the role with current star Karis Anderson – is to play a limited run from June 24th to September 13th 2025, with performance dates set to vary.

This marks a significant milestone in East’s career, transitioning from her success as a finalist on The X Factor in 2014 to becoming a prominent TV and radio presenter.

Expressing her excitement about portraying Tina Turner, Fleur said via a press release: “I love it, it’s just honestly such an honour to be able to play Tina Turner and, as a performer as well, it brings me back to my first love which is music, and I’ve always loved to sing. So, yeah I’m very grateful.”

With producer Tali Pelman adding: “Fleur East is an exceptional talent who embodies many of Tina’s most defining qualities—resilience, determination, and charisma. We are thrilled to welcome her to the company.”

Tina – The Tina Turner Musical is also now officially the longest-running show to ever play at the Aldwych Theatre, having extended its booking period through to January 2026. The show had its world premiere in London in April 2018, transferring to Broadway the following year, and has been nominated for three Olivier Awards and four WhatsOnStage Awards.

The beloved musical chronicles the remarkable life and career of the late, great Tina Turner, and features many of her iconic hits, including ‘Proud Mary’, ‘The Best’, and ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It’.

The current West End production has recently extended its booking period through to January 10th 2026 .?
