Four of Diamonds are back with their most fierce, and in our opinion their best, single to date, ‘Eating Me Up’.
The girlband, made up of Caroline Alvares, Lauren Rammell, Sophia Saffarian and Yasmin Broom, released the track on Thursday (September 19) and it’s safe to say that they’re taking no prisoners with their latest bop.
Having recently put the track in their live set, it’s not surprising to see why ‘Eating Me Up’ is already a big hit amongst Four of Diamonds’ fans. The track sees the girls acknowledge that they would give up their world for the one they love, but that the other person probably wouldn’t do the same.
‘Eating Me Up’ is packed with irresistible RnB tones and badass lyrics, with each of the girls getting to showcase their gorgeous vocals during the track.
It’s eating me up that I’d starve for you
Eats me alive that I’d die for you
So fuckin’ down that I’m high for you
Is the truth a lie or the lie the truth?
Four of Diamonds have also unveiled an amazing DIY video for the track which involves food, fans and plenty of fierceness. Tasked with specific jobs including styling, location, choreography and props, the girls set out to create their video with amazing results.
From having fun on the tube to being chased out of the hotel the Spice Girls used to film ‘Wannabe’, it looks like Four of Diamonds had an absolute blast filming this visual. Check it out their creative journey below.
‘Eating Me Up’ is the first release from Four of Diamonds Singles Club, with the girls planning on releasing new music on a frequent basis. You can sign up here to be one of the first to hear and know about their forthcoming new music.
The girlband have previously enjoyed success with a string of incredible singles including ‘Walk Away’, ‘Blind’, ‘Stupid Things’ featuring Saweetie and ‘Name On It’ featuring Burna Boy. ‘Eating Me Up’ just continues their plethora of stand out releases and it leaves us highly anticipating more from the talented quartet.
2019 has been a superb year for Four of Diamonds, having supported Rita Ora on the UK leg of her Phoenix World Tour, playing Manchester Pride supporting Ariana Grande, appearing at numerous festivals, supporting music icons Lionel Richie and Stevie Wonder, headlining their own sold out London show and a headline slot at Pride which was accompanied by their own billboard in Piccadilly Circus.
There is no doubt that Four of Diamonds are here to stay. They are growing from strength to strength with each release and we can’t wait to see what Caroline, Lauren, Sophia and Yasmin will do next.
‘Eating Me Up’ is out now.
