Meg Turney, also known as dollwithagun on Instagram, is an American YouTube personality with a whole lot of talent. She has over 1.2 million likes on Facebook as well as 250,000+ YouTube subscribers. Amongst her YouTube channel, and working with an Austin based production company called Rooster Teeth, Meg is also known for her incredible cosplays and modeling.
With that being said, we decided to put a list together of five reasons why we love Meg – showing you how amazing she actually is!
1. Her Youtube Channel
If you didn’t already know, Meg has a YouTube channel! Her channel mainly consists of Q&A’s known as #AskMeg’s, Vlogs about her life, Hauls, Reviews and just general awesomeness. Currently, the channel is standing at around 264k subscribers!
2. Her Cosplay Talent
Cosplay, an art form where participants commonly dress up similarly to a character from popular media, takes to extreme amounts of time and patience. Meg has been known for creating incredible costumes for various characters such as; Princess Leia, Rei Ayanami and Elizabeth from Bioshock, (which can be found here). Meg is exceptionally talented in this sense – especially due to the consistent determination she evidentially has to complete these amazing costumes. Kudos to you!
3. Her Modeling
In the past, Meg has modeled for numerous things such as Me In My Place, The Chive and Playboy. It’s safe to say that she looks absolutely stunning in all of her photos (which we’re secretly a little jealous over).
4. Her Kindness and Who She Is
The number one reason why we love Meg Turney is because of her kindness, positive outlook on life, and generally who she is as a person. It’s important to have an intimate relationship with your fans/supporters when you have such a large following – especially on social media. It’s safe to say that Meg is one of the most genuine and down to Earth influencers that is prominent in online media right now. When given the chance to meet fans in places like Comic Con, Meg has always shown genuine interest in what they have to say, and has held numerous conversations with them – never disrespecting them, nor speaking in a negative way.
Meg Turney is so important to a lot of people. What she does interests others significantly, and what she stands for is in the same way as other people too. Her videos on her personal channel, as well as on her other channel, have helped people through tough times and put smiles on their faces.
