Gabriella Cilmi recently released a new ‘blue-tinged’ single ‘Keep On Keeping’ and has followed it up with a new live music video. The visual shows Cilmi in Eastcote recording studios accompanied with her brother Joseph Cilmi and a team of very talented musicians.
Gabriella said about the new video: “Recorded in one lovely take with some of my best musical buds. We all got nice and cosy at Eastcote Studios in London, hit the record button and boshed out a live take of “Keep on Keeping”. Hope you like it…Fuelled but not sponsored by dominos pizza.”
‘Keep On Keeping’ is taken from Cilmi’s upcoming EP ‘The Water’ which will be released via Kin Records on November 1st. The EP is the bravest, most explicitly honest thing Gabriella Cilmi has ever done.
With a sell-out gig at St. Pancras Old Church, her first in 5 years, Cilmi will also be performing at Oslo, Hackney, in London. Be sure to get your tickets as they’re selling fast!
Speaking about the shows, Gabriella says ”Can’t wait to play St. Pancras Old Church’ and I’m so happy it’s sold out! The atmosphere is always beautiful and it’s the perfect venue to showcase the new EP given the blend of country, gospel and soul music that inspired the record. Also super excited to announce I’ll be playing ‘The Oslo’ in Hackney next year in May. So anyone that missed out on tickets to the last gig can hopefully join us then. I’ve seen so many great gigs at this place so looking forward to playing the venue myself, it sounds killer in there!”
