Game of Thrones Season 8 is further away than before
Season 7 of Game of Thrones has been bittersweet what with fewer episodes of which two have been leaked but the episodes themselves being incredible viewing.
Bad news is on the horizon, however, as HBO programming president Casey Bloys has said we may have to wait an extra year between seasons 7 and 8!
“They have to write the episodes and figure out the production schedule”, he said. “We’ll have a better sense of that once they get further into the writing.”
Actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister recently revealed that the much-anticipated final season won’t begin filming until October! In his interview with Collider, he also said he doesn’t know whats coming next,
“You get the scripts a month before we start shooting, or six weeks, and then you know what’s going to happen that season.
“But, I don’t know what’s going to happen next season. We go back in October, so maybe in the next few weeks, we’ll get the scripts and I’ll find out. I’m very curious.”
Consisting of just six episodes, the final season of Game of Thrones is the shortest to date. However raised production costs and longer filming schedules is shaping it to be the most powerful season yet.
What do you think is going to happen in the final season?
