George Shelley is in talks to be working on The Xtra Factor, recently following his departure from Union J.
George has been a huge hit with the public, being on I’m A Celebrity last year, coming second place to Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, and now featuring on the Capital FM Breakfast Show.
The rumour is that if George were to land a role on the show, it could potentially involve being a ‘social media’ correspondent – something brand new to the show! He would be working along hosts Rochelle Humes and Rylan Clark.
George was kicked out of Union J due to his lack of commitment to the band, and remaining members Jaymi Hensley, Josh Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett, have continued on, with new member, Casey Johnson, who used to be in Stereo Kicks.
The new line up for X Factor this year consists of old favourites Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger, Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.
The show seemed to be in need of new ideas, after Louisa Johnson’s winners’ single, sold the lowest number of copies, however, in her new single with Clean Bandit, Tears, it has stormed the charts!
