Melt Festival

Germany’s Melt Festival Is Back for 2022

Since 1997, Melt Festival, one of the largest open-air electronic music festivals has been held every year at the Ferropolis, near Gräfenhainichen.

In 2020 and 2021, due to the pandemic, the festival came to a halt. Sans restrictions, Melt Festival is back for 2022, beginning June 9 and running through June 12. The event will celebrate over 200 acts, and collaborations with Germany’s biggest clubs and radio stations, along with seven new stages.

The new Live From Earth Stage will host artists like Berliner DJ Gigola, Clara Cuvé, MCR-T, and Ascendant Vierge, while the new Liquid Jungle Stage will offer live jazz and neo-soul artists such as Treasure Bloom, Xades, and Triorität with special guest Lukas Lehmann.

Another new stage, the Ping Pong Stage, will present artists like Honey Dijon, Jayda G, Peggy Gou, Monolink, and Sofia Kourtesis. In addition, Melt Festival has added another day, allowing more celebration and dancing, with the Pre-Day on Thursday.
