Rising girlband SVN, made up of the former cast of Six the Musical, have unveiled their latest single ‘Woman’.

Self-penned by the group, ‘Woman’ is a gorgeous RnB inspired ballad which is designed to unite and empower women across the world. As with all of their releases to date, ‘Woman’ gives each of the girls a chance to shine individually before they bring their stunning vocals together for the chorus.

“We are who we are, strong, powerful women / We have come so far, yeah, we’re on a mission / Please be who you are, there’s too many people to bring you down / Shout loud / Stand proud / I am a woman”, the girls sing in the impactful chorus, reminding us to stand proud as women and know your worth.

‘Woman’ comes accompanied by an elegant black and white visual which captures the girls’ unbreakable bond. It also features heartwarming footage of each member with some of the influential queens in their lives as they sing along to the powerful anthem.

Speaking about forming their girlband, SVN said: “Working as a group of seven women means we’re constantly evolving and challenging ourselves which is an amazing experience. I hope we can empower other women around the world to go after what they want, not be afraid of it and to embrace their own individuality. Working together again after Six The Musical is a magical feeling and we can’t wait to make people feel good through music.”

SVN, made up of Millie O’Connell, Aimee Atkinson, Natalie Paris, Grace Mouat, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Jarneia Richard-Noel and Alexia Mcintosh, will be performing a headline gig this summer at London’s O2 Academy Islington on August 7. The girl group will be showcasing their forthcoming new music and you can find remaining tickets here.

They will also be taking part in the first ever musical convention, MusicalCon, on October 22-23 at Excel London, plus they will be reforming as the original cast of Six the Musical this June to headline Hampton Court Palace. They will be doing three unique performances across two days, all in the iconic main courtyard of the historic building. Remaining tickets are on sale here.
