American producer and DJ Gryffin has returned today to bring us yet another gorgeous teaser off of his highly-anticipated first studio album “Gravity”.
After dropping the first part of the project, titled “Gravity Part 1”, back in December last year, he is now apparently readying the full release. And we are more than just happy about it!
His latest song is titled “All You Need To Know”. It sees him teaming up for the first time with the DJ duo SLANDER and Swedish singer-songwriter Calle Lehmann. The latter rose to fame last year thanks to his feature on Galantis’ “Mama Look At Me Now” as well as his songwriting credits on Liam Payne’s “Slow” and Panic! At The Disco’s “Don’t Threaten Me With A Good Time”.
Their first project together takes Gryffin back to musical realms that were first explored on his Ivy Adara-assisted track “Bye Bye”.
Musically, “All You Need To Know” is another strong track that further showcases the DJ’s classical training as a pianist and guitarist. Melodically mixing warm textures and a hypnotic drop with Calle’s strong vocals, Gryffin wonderfully manages to create a track that is both soaring and euphoric.
Lyrically, “All You Need To Know” is a wonderful exploration of love wherein the singer promises his loved one that “you never have to be alone” and that “[he’ll] lift you when you’re feeling low”. It is sweet and uplifting at the same time.
“All You Need To Know” was written by Gryffin, Calle Lehmann, Samuel Preston and Sylvester Willy Sivertsen.
