Gwen Stefani made one fan’s night by inviting him on stage during her concert Wednesday night in Florida.
Gwen noticed a sign that read, “My son was bullied from the first to fifth grade,” to which she responded, “What?”
The sign continued with “He would come home everyday upset, but he’d go to his room, listen to your music, and smile.” At that point, she called the woman’s son to join her on the stage.
The young fan hugged Stefani with tears, and the two shared a special moment. The crowd then cheered, as Stefani said some words of encouragement to the boy.
Stefani later went on instagram to express her feelings over the touching moment. She is thankful for the gift that God gave her, which is the ability to inspire others.
After the show, Gwen invited the young fan and his mom backstage for a picture with her and her two sons.
It is amazing to see celebrities, such as Gwen, who take the time to give back to their fans. It might seem like a simple act to some, but to fans, it means the world.
