The official trailer for Always LaLisa, the feature documentary following global superstar, rapper, singer, dancer, and actor, LISA has been released.
Directed by Sue Kim, the film follows a pivotal year in LISA’s life, as, for the first time since childhood, she steps away from BLACKPINK for a year of independence. The documentary sees the multi-talented artist confront the fear and pressure of launching a solo career, pursuing acting, and building a brand before her return to the group, while yearning to maintain a personal life beyond the spotlight.

Despite the stress, LISA’s profile has never been higher and she’s achieved astronomical success across the world of music, TV/film, and entertainment. This year alone, she performed ‘Goals’ alongside Anitta and Rema at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. She also covered Vanity Fair’s Summer issue; served on the 2026 Met Gala host committee as the first K-pop artist in that role; and presented at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Additionally she performed at Coachella as a solo act and made history as the first K-pop artist to hold a Las Vegas residency. Her four-show VIVA LA LISA run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, taking place on November 13–14 and November 27–28, sold out in under 10 minutes.
Alongside her music career, LISA made her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus and has announced two Netflix projects – starring in and executive producing action film TYGO and an untitled Notting Hill-inspired romantic comedy currently in development.
