Over the last week or two, songs have been dropping like flies off of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s latest project, The Hamilton Mixtape.
The Hamilton Mixtape is what it says on the tin: a mixtape of Hamilton songs. And it isn’t just any old mixtape though, it contains 23 tracks including many world famous artists. Some of these artists include Sia, Usher, John Legend and the man himself Lin-Manuel Miranda.
So far, the songs which have been released are:
- ‘Satisfied’ by Sia feat Miguel & Queen Latifah.
- ‘My Shot (Rise Up Remix)’ by The Roots feat. Busta Rhymes, Joell Ortiz and Nate Ruess.
- ‘Immigrants (We Get The Job Done)’ by K’naan, Snow Tha Product, Riz MC, Residente.
- ‘It’s Quiet Uptown’ by Kelly Clarkson.
All the songs which have been released so far have been loved and repeated by many fans of Hamilton over and over again. However, the mixtape is bringing in new people to the Hamilton scene as popular artists remix the songs.
The songs which have been released are available to listen to on Spotify or you can buy them on iTunes. The other 19 songs are available for pre-order right now!
