Austin-based, hard/alternative artist, Hanna Barakat has released her third single, “Leave Your Light On,” ahead of her debut album, “Siren,” out August 16th.
Barakat attended Berklee College of Music, where she dove into Arabic music through the middle eastern fusion ensemble. She opened for New Kids on the Block on their comeback tour at the TD Bank North Garden Stadium. Her style merges Arab-oriental influences and hard-rock to connect with her audience.
The track dives into her personal life, especially her recent relationship. When it comes to a relationship, settling is not an option. You can hear her emotions in the song and the tambourine in the back adds a powerful sound to it.
