The Headstones Confirm First UK Gig in Over 20 Years

Canadian Punk Rock band Headstones, fronted by actor and musician Hugh Dillon, are set to play their first UK gig in over 20 years this October with a performance at 229TheVenue in London.

With only one date confirmed, taking place on Halloween (31st of October) this year, it is a must see for all fans of the band!

The band, which enjoyed platinum status on the charts in the 90s, came back from an 8 year Hiatus in 2011 to tour all over North America since their reunion, but this performance will mark their first in the UK since the hiatus ended.

After a successful run of Ontario shows at the end of 2013, it was time for the band to get back into the studio. In March 2014, they launched their second PledgeMusic campaign, reaching 100% in only 12 hours, and 301% at the end of the project. This time, the Headstones would be looking back at their history, and reimagining some of their biggest hits, to give their ever-present fans a fresh new outlook on the band. After taking Love + Fury on the road to Western Canada, the band enjoyed the 2014 release of One In The Chamber Music. Their first vinyl release, featuring two brand new tracks, was released late 2015.The band will be supported by Little Brother Eli, a UK based band whose debut album  “Cold Tales” on June 24th, and whose music can be heard on their Soundcloud account here.

Headstones are still ranked as one of the most commercially successful Canadian rocks bands, and are ready to hit the stage this Halloween at 229TheVenue, with more details, and tickets, available here.
