After Craig David’s epic return to the music scene with his brilliant performance with X Factor finalists Reggie N Bollie and superstar Fuse ODG on the X Factor 2015 final last month, he is well and truly back on the map and now with the boys mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini announcing her return to music, rumours have been rife that the pair will hook up for a collaboration on the Geordie babe’s fifth studio album.
According to the the Daily Mirror, Craig and Cheryl got talking after the ‘Walking Away’ singer performed with Cheryl’s act Reggie N Bollie on the final.
They are both big fans of each others music and with Cheryl keen to have a more urban sound for her latest LP, their possible collab could work out very well for the pair.
Lets face it, they are both hot, they both put on a brilliant show and they both know how to record/write a catchy song or two.
A collaboration from the pair would be epic, whether they shared vocals and released a single together or Craig co-wrote a banger with Cheryl, the end results would be pretty insane.
Cheryl last released an album in November 2014, her empowering ‘Only Human’ LP, and experimented with different sounds on her previous three albums, but it is believed that the ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ singer is keen to return to the RnB sounds that she used on her debut album ‘3 Words’ back in 2009.
Craig David currently marked his return to music with his new single ‘When The Bassline Drops’ which is out now.
Lets hope these rumours are true and we soon have a Cheryl FT Craig David track to dance to.
