Hey Violet stormed The Late Late Show with James Corden on November 16th, 2016. It was a fantastic show with lots of lights, sounds, and laughs. We must say though, the band absolutely slayed their performance.
Their night kicked off with a little witty banter and a fun round of the late night talk show’s signature game of “The Bandmate Game”. A game where each band member has to guess what one band member would mostly like say, do, wear, act, or even guess a fact about themselves.
With each correct answer, a sum amount of points will be added to their existing score. Let’s just say things didn’t go well for the band, but it was pretty entertaining to watch! Watch the band’s round of The Bandmate Game down below, if you’d like to see for yourself!
To end their night on the late night talk show, the band performed their latest hit single “Guys My Age”. As we said before, they absolutely smashed it. It was amazing seeing the use of bright lights (similar to the music) throughout the performance.
We got the same groovy and laid back vibe from the music video, but we’ve multiplied that by ten after watching them perform the song live. It honestly gave us serious chills and goosebumps because of how amazing it was.
Each of the band members certainly seemed to have enjoyed themselves on stage, as they became one with the song. Hey Violet stormed that stage and owned it; we could not be in more awe and be more in love with the band after watching such an amazing show.
Not only did they illuminate the stage with the bright neon lights (did you see Rena’s mic stand?), but they blessed the stage with their amazing stage presence.
