Exploding onto the music scene with the release of her debut single, “Standing Up With Pride,” followed by “Special,” a song devoted to the ‘special’ person in one’s life, Hitha’s latest single surges with her distinctive voice and alluring sound.
According to Hitha, “Music is my passion and my life. I hope that I become known as the positive girl who loves to write and perform. When people hear my music, I want them to know that they can always count on themselves to figure out what their true passion is, and then put in the hard work and practice alongside their talent to get the achievement they’re looking for. There’s always a positive ending if you try hard and don’t give up.”
With a series of forthcoming singles in the pipeline, including “Hey Dad,” “Chocolate Kisses,” “Tell Me Why,” “Empire,” and “Got Me Likin You,” Hitha will soon be dominating the airwaves and streaming platforms with her delicious music.
“Independent” opens on a sparkling piano and gently shimmering guitar flowing into a potent thumping rhythm topped by layers of tasty pop flavors. Hitha’s voice, rich and crystalline, full of intense emotional colors, glides smoothly over the music, as radiant vocal harmonies infuse the tune with brilliant depth.
“I’ve been let down / Searching through and through forever since / Pushed around getting down / I use to be like / Help me somebody help me get through this crowd / This maze of emotions getting me so worked around.” Followed by the penetrating chorus: “I’ve been through the rough / I am the brave / Listen to me scream / Independent / Let them see me stand / Soar above the ground / I will scream / Independent.”
