As stated by the petition, this future campaign could take place if enough signatures and support are allotted by mid-August of this year. The purpose of the campaign is to not only showcase new upcoming fashion wear, but show that girl power is alive, well and stronger than ever.
While the message is pretty straightforward, this could end up being a double-edged sword for both H&M and the girls. While H&M clothing isn’t available everywhere around the world, for example Brazil, Little Mix and Fifth Harmony (who are already popular in that area) could give the big clothing chain a bigger exposure to the South America demographic.
In addition, while Little Mix and Fifth Harmony have fans all over the world, H&M could give them that fashion forward and philanthropic exposure that could ensure thousands of more followers for both girl groups. Note, some of the biggest names have partnered up with H&M, including Madonna, David Beckham and Beyonce.
