How to feel like a celebrity from the comfort of home

We all want to feel like we’re a celebrity from time to time. Perhaps it’s because we like the attention, dream about having millions of dollars in the bank, or want to pursue our passions and simply don’t know how to. The truth is, you’re unlikely to become famous overnight, but there are lots of ways that you can feel like one of the world’s biggest stars from the comfort of your own home. We’ve rounded up some of our favourites to help you get started…

    Put on a concert

It doesn’t matter whether you’re 13 or in your 30s, the chances are that you’ve held a concert from home at one point in your life. Hairbrush at the ready, AirPods in, and sing away ‘til your heart’s content. Create a playlist of your favourite songs and run through them in a fun and fancy outfit, and you’ll feel like Gaga or Beyonce in no time at all. Even better: get friends and family involved and put on a music festival of your own, with snacks included!

    Play casino games

Some of the world’s biggest celebrities like to spend their free frequenting casinos around the world, not just in Las Vegas. If you want to follow in their footsteps, consider playing an online casino game – like slotxo – where you can have a flutter, chat with fellow players and perhaps win a boatload of money in the process. Hey, if you really want to feel a million dollars, why not dress up for the occasion and make a night of it? You should always gamble responsibly – know your limits. We recommend setting a budget every time you play online.

    Have a pamper night

Another great way to feel like an A-lister when you’re at home is to indulge in a pamper night. Treat yourself to some of your favourite beauty products, face masks, and run a bubble bath. It’s the perfect way to properly unwind and have fun – you can pretend you’re in a five-star resort, and if your partner wants to get involved, you might even get a massage out of it! Remember food and drinks, think about the atmosphere of your room (keep it dark and add a few candles) and make sure that your guests come prepared; relaxed and ready to unwind. Consider relaxing music, like acoustic spa tracks on YouTube, and go virtual if you have to: you can put on a face pack and chat with your best friend who’s also at home.

    Get dressed up

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend an evening and don’t want to go out, then why not get dressed up in your favourite outfit and spend time doing your makeup? You can make yourself feel really special and take some selfies when you’re done, and perhaps even order a takeaway to enjoy in front of the television. Take inspiration from one of your favourite stars, whether it’s Dua or Ariana, and pull off a red carpet look without leaving the house.
