Social-media singing sensation HRVY has released his new single, ‘I Wish You Were Here’.

Produced by Loose Change (Little Mix) and Mojam (Emelie Sande) and co-written by Corey Sanders (Chainsmokers), Alex Stacey (One Republic) and Boy Matthews, the track is a quirky pop stormer, filled with 80’s sounds and falsetto vocals. Capital FM has added the track immediately to their playlist.

It is the 19-year-old’s first release since the single ‘Hasta Luego’ with Malu Trevejo in April of this year. As that track nears 35 million streams, fans are excited for the young star’s new releases – of which there will be “like 4 other songs to be released before Christmas”, HRVY confirmed on Instagram recently.

The Instagram-sensation has been spending time in Los Angeles recording, rehearsing and filming music videos for the new releases. His ever-evolving dance moves have been making appearances at gigs more and more and fans will be excited to see what moves the former CBBC star has up his sleeve.

HRVY recently came off his first headline European tour, CelebMix headed down to his sold-out Paris gig to see just what all the hype is about, and were stunned by the latest social-media born popstar.

It’s been a whirlwind year for HRVY since the release of his Talk To Ya EP in November 2017, spearheaded by the pop-gold of hit single ‘Personal’, currently sitting pretty with 168 million YouTube views. As well as his own tour he has enjoyed a supporting slot with The Vamps, made high profile appearances at events such as Capital’s Summertime Ball and will be performing at BBC Radio 1’s Teen Awards later this year.

HRVY and his team are staying tight-lipped on what to expect from ‘I Wish You Were Here’ for now, but the promo shot of HRVY behind bars could well point to a new darker or heavier pop sound. Here’s what some fans have been thinking since the announcement…
