Do you love 90’s music? Spice Girls, Britney, Britney, Back Street Boys? Then the 90’s brunch could be a great way for you and your mates to spend a Saturday afternoon.
The 90’s Brunch is a pop-up Saturday Brunch Party in London bringing all your favourite 90s and childhood memories back to life!
We were recently invited to the Spice Girls special held at The Tropicana Beach club in Covent Gardens and what an afternoon it was.
Dressing up is strongly encouraged. So we saw loads of people dressed up as their favourite Spice Girl, including the staff.
The fun starts at 12 pm and ends at about 5 pm. It starts when you are given a cup and an hour to indulge in bottomless punch, and maybe a temporary 90’s inspired tattoo.
Oh and to sit and look at the list of songs available for the later lip sync battle, something which gets very competitive but has the crowd really going. There were some great choices, including Spice Girl tracks and Whitney Houston.
Then a three-course lunch is served. Also themed, so popular 90’s food. We absolutely loved the chicken wings in the starter.
After lunch, we were treated to a Spice Girls tribute act ‘Spice Up Your Lives’ who really got the crowd up and singing and putting the inflatable microphones and guitars scattered around the venue to good use.
The 90’s Brunch is a fun and different way to spend some time with friends, it’s a great afternoon out to celebrate a special occasion or birthday or hen party.
