With the iHeart Radio Music Awards today (April 3), the red carpet will be rolled out and ready for the celebrity arrivals. It will be a great night to celebrate music. Since this awards show focuses on all types of music, there are many categories and it gives everyone a chance to hopefully have their favorite artist represented.
The awards show can be accessed a handful of ways, including television, on the TBS, TNT, truTV channels at 8pm ET, 5pm PT. They will also be on iHeartMedia stations nationwide and will also be featured on iHeartRadio digital music platform.
The event will take place at The Forum in Los Angeles and will feature artists such as, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor, and Justin Bieber. Taylor Swift is in the lead with eight nominations. Some of her nominations include, Song of the Year with Blank Space and Best Tour with her “1989 World Tour.”
The Weeknd is up for six nominations, including Song of the Year, Can’t Feel My Face and R&B Song of the Year with The Hills and Earned It.
In the category of Female Artist of the Year, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift are nominated. In the Male Artist of the Year category, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Luke Bryan, Sam Smith, and The Weeknd are nominated.
